Bob and I shared the "door duties" at the Computer Tutors Network meeting place(s)for quite a few years. We swapped banter and gentle comments with attendees as we took their money, signed them in and registered their attendance. Never at a loss for words, Bob was a master of the double-take and made a pause in speech worth a thousand words --- you never knew what he would come out with next. Always a gentleman, Bob made everybody feel special and essential to whatever they were about to do. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him and respected him. He was one in a million as a trainer and will remain so forever. I felt honoured to be his friend and associate. With sincere wishes and respects to his family --- Ted Butlin.
